Susquehanna River
Flowing throughout western Clinton County, the west branch of the Susquehanna River offers a refreshing escape for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Visitors can spend their days kayaking, canoeing, boating, or floating along its gentle currents, trying to catch the big one, or simply soaking in the peaceful beauty of the mountain landscapes. Public river access is available in the Borough of Renovo or downstream at Baker Run Canoe Access located at 5972 Renovo Road. Nearby public parks in Renovo and Kettle Creek and Hyner Run State Park provide perfect spots for picnicking and wildlife watching. As the sun sets, the river transforms into a golden ribbon, creating a picturesque backdrop that captures the quiet magic of this ancient and historic waterway.
